For several years we have been cooperating with a trade association called Co.MOS (composed by traders,brokers,operators,transporters of live animals and pig slaughterhouse), which aims to represent its members in meetings with Institutions,Associations,National and EU authorities sharing the experience of the categories represented to support and eventually modify contracts and legislation in force.

The association also takes care of informing all members about price trends and the marketing of pigs at national and EU level.

The same has obtained accreditation from the Ministry of Health to organize and run training courses for drivers/guardians regarding the animal welfare during transport as required by EC Regulation 1/2005.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Rossi Sauro has been the first transport company in Umbria to power its vehicles with green fuel obtained from renewable raw materials (HVO). In addition it has the use of an additive (ADBLUE) capable of reducing polluting emissions.
Our highly efficient agricultural machinery (4.0) ensure the decrease of the environmental impact.

FORMATION

Our travelling staff is in possession of a professional certificate as driver and guardiana is required by art.17 Reg CE 1/2005.
The company organizes regularly training and informational courses about the national and EU legislation regarding road circulation, the security and animal welfare during transports.

TRUCK WASH

In 2003 our company ha accomplished a great investment: an authorized washing plant for washing and disifection of its vehicles. Annexed to this washing plant there is an uncovered parking area suitable for the parking itself and the transport intermodality.
